Dear Neighbors,
Hi, I'm Mike Bruni. This Monday is a vote for the open Litchfield position on Region 20, and I'm running for it.
Recently, we've been through a lot with the new merger and like many, I would like to see
★quality education and adherence to sound budgetary planning★
A position on the BoE holds a lot of responsibility, given the importance of how 66% of our town’s tax revenue, nearly $23M, is in their hands.
I'd like to bring my expertise in budget, management and problem solving to the Town of Litchfield and represent you, the students and the teachers effectively on the Board.
I'm the product of an excellent public school education that enabled me to attend an Ivy League university and I want my 1 year old daughter to have the same opportunities by attending Region 20.
A little about myself, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I've made a career as a Chief Technology Officer, responsible for corporate technology strategy, creative problem solving with limited resources, obtaining alignment with others and being a good steward of investor dollars.
I’m ready to commit my skills but need your help. With your support for me on Monday June 23rd, we can have a brighter future for our children, teachers, and taxpayers.
Please come out to vote at Litchfield Intermediate School at 6PM on Monday. I hope to have your vote!
